KAMBO

Kambo is a sacred offering derived from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor, the Giant Monkey Frog, ethically harvested by indigenous Amazonian tribes. Administered through small burns on the skin, Kambo facilitates cleansing, energetic clearing, and spiritual awakening.
Participants often fast to prepare for the ceremony, which is guided with prayers and chants. The medicine clears toxins, trauma, and negative energies, offering profound renewal. Known as “warrior medicine,” Kambo fosters connection with nature and inner wisdom, leaving participants feeling lighter, centered, and revitalized.

The Process

During the process, water is added to the dry secretions. A small, superficial burn is made on the top layer of skin to allow Kambo to travel through the lymphatic system.

Each experience is unique to an individual. Often at the beginning, the person experiences a rise in body temperature as the bio-peptides scan the body and travel to specific areas, disseminating into the tissues. You may also experience an increase in heart rate, tingling sensation in different body parts and sometimes stiffness or swelling.

These sensations could be followed by physical or emotional purging (such as vomiting, crying or laughing, sweating, yawning, or having loose stools).

Usually the experience lasts about 30 minutes. After your session, you may feel lighter, freer, more relaxed in your body and mind and more in-tune with the higher self.

It is strongly recommended to do 3 sessions of kambo within a 28 day cycle, ensuring that one receives as many bioavailable peptides as possible.

We believe that gentle application allows for a better experience, we work with your individual needs.

Rapé and Sananga can be utilized upon request.

The SCIENCE

Kambo has been studied in the Western science scene for decades and is contributing to ground-breaking research on many of the most widespread, "incurable" diseases.

Research on the chemical makeup of Kambo has been conducted since the 1960s and has found the medicine’s healing capacities in short chains of amino acids, known as peptides. These bioactive peptides impact the gastrointestinal muscles and blood circulation, as well as stimulate the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland in the brain. The known peptides in Kambo have been replicated by pharmaceutical companies, which have over 70 patents in America alone that make up many popular drugs in the market today.

bioactive Peptides

Vittorio Erspamer, an Italian scientists of the University of Rome, studied the secretion beginning in the 1980’s. He isolated the peptides and found their influences on the body as follows:

Phyllokinin & Phyllomedusins

  • Vasodilators that heighten the permeability of the blood-brain barrier (for their own use and for the use of other active peptides)

  • Antimicrobial and antifungal properties

Caeruleins & Sauvagines

  • Contract the colon and bladder

  • Cause tachycardia and a decrease in blood pressure

  • Enhance sensory perception through the stimulation of the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland

Increase physical strength and the ability to surpass pain, stress, disease, and fatigue

    Improve digestion

  • Have analgesic properties

Dermorphin and Deltorphin

Adenoregulin

  • Works through the adenosine receptors, which is being studied in depression, stroke, and cognitive loss diseases (eg: Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease).

Dermaseptin

  • Broad-spectrum antimicrobial peptides with lethal effects against fungi species (remarkably the opportunistic filamentous fungi often seen with immunodeficiency syndrome), gram-positive and grand-negative bacteria, yeasts, and protozoa

  • Dermaseptin B2 and B3, which are researched in effect for killing cancer cells (specifically for prohibiting angiogenesis of tumor cells with selective cytotoxicity)

Bradykinins

  • Similar to human bradykinin

  • Produce vasodilation, contraction of the non-vascular smooth muscle, and increase vascular permeability

  • Related to inflammatory pain

Bombesins

  • Act on G cells of the stomach to secrete hydrochloric acid

  • Stimulate pancreatic secretion, intestinal myoelectric activity, and smooth muscle contractibility

Caeruleins

  • Accelerate gastric, bile and pancreatic secretions

Tryptophilins

  • Neuropeptides of 4-14 amino acids

The bioactive peptides in Kambo have known effects on the following conditions:

  • Depression

  • Migraines

  • Blood circulation problems

  • Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease

  • Strokes

  • Seizures

  • Vascular insufficiency

  • Organ diseases

  • Cancer

  • Fertility problems

  • Deeply rooted toxins

  • Chronic pain

  • Addiction to opioids or painkillers

  • Fever and infections

  • AIDS

  • Hepatitis

  • Lyme Disease

  • Autoimmune Diseases (remarkably Hashimoto’s)

  • Negative Energies (traditionally known as Panema)
